OmniPark Online 2024.02.27.2 - Feb. 26, 2024

Enhancements

  • Implemented a filter on the valid payments provided by the GenericParkingSessions provider based on a flag applied at the config level. This allows the Valid Payments screen on the handheld device to be more accurate. 
  • Implemented new Melissa API for address validations instead of using Melissa’s Soap Service.

  • Released Hybrid Enforcement for Android handheld devices allowing attendants to view pending notices and manually issue them at locations and routes where Hybrid Enforcement is enabled.

OmniPark BackOffice 2023.4.2 - Dec. 18, 2023

Enhancements

  • Implemented a new Hybrid Enforcement Dashboard
    • A brand new module within the application allowing users to visualize pending notices in a graphical view.
      • Note: The functionality needs to be turned on by location. For detailed setup see Functional Spec
  • Collections Logic
    • When a notice is officially in collections and we receive a call-back with the collection status flag, the below must happen:
      • No payment is accepted via PayMyNotice or BackOffice – 
      • Adjustment is not allowed
      • Void button in BO should be changed to “Request Void” and Redirected to ParkPliant for requesting void
      • Disputes will be also redirected to ParkPliant
      • Parking Owed status will be exported via API

BackOffice 2023.3.1 - Jul. 26, 2023

Enhancements

FLASH Network Notice Delivery 

This solution uses ParkWhiz booking data to match enforcement notices with LPNs and parkers’ emails. The solution then sends an email to the parker with the notice details as well as a link to pay the notice or opt out of receiving further notice emails for the LPN in question. This feature has not yet been turned on for any particular organization and will be rolled out on a per location basis. 

 

Payment Source & Method changes 

Transactions received from ParkPliant have been updated such that paymentSourceID 20 = ParkPliant and PaymethodID 11 = Collections.

 

Send Notice Close Reason to ParkPliant 

The ParkPliant api now contains a closeReasonId in the Payoff endpoint. We are now sending this field from our notices table to the API

Forward Parking Session Requests to Canada server – This allows us to forward ParkWhiz booking transactions to our Canada server whenever appropriate.
