Platform Release Notes

Platform Release 08.21.26

Deployment Date: August 21, 2026

Enhancements

Single Sign-On (SSO) announcement: AOL-based accounts are now required to log in with SSO in the following portals:

Modified Edge Device query for private network vehicles support (Parkonect)
This release enables private network access for Express Pay locations that also utilize Parkonect Edge for offline processing. We have resolved an issue that previously prevented these locations from connecting to the correct database for private network vehicles. This update includes safeguards to ensure that other Edge-enabled locations that are not part of a private network are prevented from gaining accidental access.

Express Pay Roll Network updates (Digital/ParkWhiz)

  • Released the ManageTrustedNetworkJob
The work to create the webhook jobs triggered by partner subscription and location configuration changes, replacing the previous sync method and ensuring data consistency across the platform.

  • New automated job to backfill locations
When a partner subscription is saved with backfill enabled, all associated locations will now be automatically synced to PARCS, ensuring complete location data is available without waiting for a batch Redshift update.

Included balance account information in ParkWhiz Payments Platform API
The ParkWhiz Payments Platform API now returns balance account information with each transaction, enabling accurate split refunds by providing the data needed to route partial refunds back to the correct balance accounts instead of defaulting to Flash’s liable balance account.

Get OAuth token via Cognito code (Mobile Attendant App)
Our Core API now supports exchanging a Cognito authorization code for an OAuth token, enabling the Mobile Attendant app to authenticate users via SSO. This allows the app to obtain user credentials directly through Cognito’s redirect flow, without relying on email and password-based authentication.

HUB API updates

  • Added extra search functions, additional pagination to HUB Request Log search page
The HUB request log search page now supports filtering by vehicle (with fuzzy matching), time range, LPR event ID, and Express Pay status, along with paginated and sortable results for safer large-location lookups.

  • Support for corrections and cancellations
We are creating new endpoints to allow ticket creation through HUB instead of through Omni. This impacts only 3rd party OS systems for now, until future work to migrate PK/FLP is completed.

Fixes

Hybrid Express Pay sessions remained open after $0 exit with validation (Parkonect, Express Pay)
Fixed an issue where Express Pay sessions on Private networks were not reconciling on Parkonect, due to conflicting hold at gate and validation/grade period behavior.

Client Idp login bookmark error
Bookmarked IdP login links now redirect correctly instead of producing an error.
