Accounts that have the same email address will be grouped together under one user. If you go through the “Add customer” form and use an email that is already in use, it will add that account under that existing user.
New accounts:
- If you wish for the customer to have separate accounts (and therefore separate invoices), under the same email login, then you may use the “Add Customer” form to create an additional account under that user’s email.
- If you wish for the customer to pay for multiple parkers under one invoice add an additional parker on file to one of their existing accounts.
- If you wish for a new customer to have their own account login and invoices, use the “Add Customer” form with a unique email address.
Existing accounts:
- You want to move an account to a user that already exists: Type in the email that you want to move the account to. You will see the message “Email address already in use. Are you sure you want to move this account under this user?” Click yes.
- You want to change all accounts using a certain email to a new email: Type in the user’s email address under parking info, the email address will update across all accounts using that email.
- You want to move an account out of the current user/email’s control and onto a new user/email: Click the yellow “Move account to new user” button. The account will be moved under a fresh user with a fake email address. You can change the email address now.
- Parker wants to move their account to another user that exists: They will receive an error message that says “User email address already in use” and will require an operator to change the email on their account.
