MessagesParkonect’s on-screen messages are customizable to suit any garage’s needs. These message changes can be made to any kiosk type from the Parkonect Admin portal.
Requirements #
- Only Garage Administrator users (customer-facing) can access the Screen Messages page.
How it Works #
Admin users can access touch screen messages from the Lanes page by selecting a Lane and clicking the Touch Screen Messages button. They can select the language in which the default messages will appear, and change them on each available field by browsing the message tabs.
Note
Fields have a maximum character count of 329, but the screen itself has a limited space so any text longer than 180 characters for open messages like the Garage Name Header that appears at the top of the main screen and 15 characters for buttons will appear off-screen and illegible.
Once updated, changes are pushed to the kiosk and take effect almost immediately.
Note
Be aware that no bulk edit option is available. Changes to touchscreen messages must be made separately to each kiosk in the garage.
