Parkonect offers the Lot Full Enforcement module which allows operators to control the access of transient parkers due to the lot being at Full capacity or by designating a set number of available stalls for Transient parkers. If only a certain amount of Transient parkers are allowed to park concurrently, this further ensures Monthly or PreSale parkers have available parking.
Note
Monthly and 3rd party parkers continue to have access when the Lot Status is Full. This enforcement restriction only applies to Transient parker types.
How it works #
Once garage capacity is reached the Parkonect kiosk will no longer permit Transient parkers entry until the occupancy decreases. Monthly and 3rd-party parkers will continue to have access when the Lot is full.
- To ensure the monthly parkers have available parking, the operator can set the number of Transient stalls to trigger the Lot Full status when transient capacity is reached.
- Operators will receive an automatic email (if enabled) each time the Lot Full / Open status has been triggered.

- If the third-party sign is enabled and installed, the digital sign will display Open or Full based on the set occupancy.

The Lot Full status is also visible in the Parkonect portal under the Garage Log tab.

Configuration #
Once the module is enabled for the location, Admin accounts have the option to manage the Lot Full Enforcement settings.
- The operator can decide if they want the Lot Full trigger based on transient parker count only, or include all parker types in the occupancy count to trigger Lot Full.
- Enable automatic email notifications for when the Lot Full is triggered
- Activate the 3rd party Lot Full sign integration
Lot Full Enforcement Settings Navigation
- Select Garage Setting
- Select Garage toggle > Other
- Lot Full Settings are now located in a separate card.

Lot Full Settings #
- Number of Stalls: Default garage capacity
- Enforce Lot Full: Enables Lot Full restrictions. This must be checked to display Lot Full and restrict parkers from entry once capacity is reached (capacity calculation includes all parker types but only restricts Transient from entry)
- Send Lot Full Emails: Enables Lot full email notifications to those on the garage email list (located under Email Notifications)
- Light Lot Full Sign: Enables the third-party Lot Full display sign integration
- Use Transient Lot Full: Enables the capacity calculation only to include Transient parker types. Once transient capacity is reached Lot Full will display and Transient parkers are restricted from entry until Transient capacity decreases.
- Number of Transient Stalls: Determines the allowed capacity of Transient parkers.
